Elsevier recognizes Song as a Top Cited Author in catalysis
November 26, 2008
Chunshan Song was recognized as one of the "Top Cited Authors" in catalysis (among all the papers published during 2003-2007) in a special reception hosted by Elsevier at the 14th International Congress on Catalysis held in Seoul, Korea in July 2008. This is the third time that Song has received "Top Cited Authors" in catalysis honors - the two previous five-year periods were 2001-2005 and 2002-2006.
Dr. Song published two of the top 50 most cited papers among researchers in catalysis worldwide. The two papers listed below each received more than 300 citations according to Elsevier’s citation database "Scopus." The papers also are the top 50 most cited papers among the over 10,000 papers published in catalysis during 2003-2007 by Science Citation Index (SCI) at the ISI Web of Science.
Song is director of EMS Energy Institute, professor of fuel science, professor of chemical engineering (courtesy), and Associate Director of Penn State Institutes of Energy and the Environment.
